One in two men will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85 - it could be you, or it could be your best mate.
Wearing a yellow armband in Call To Arms could help save your best mate from hearing the words ‘you have cancer.'
Essendon Football Club kick started the Call to Arms campaign last Friday night by wearing yellow armbands in their annual Clash for Cancer against Melbourne.
The Club is now encouraging sporting clubs around Australia to wear a yellow armband during July to help prevent, detect, and treat cancers in men and support men in need by funding the Cancer Council's important cancer research, education and support programs.
Register for Call to Arms today by clicking here, and your local sporting club can help save the lives of men right across Australia.
Here is an exciting opportunity for fans to own a piece of memorabilia from Essendon's convincing victory over Melbourne in last Friday’s Clash for Cancer while supporting a great cause. Essendon is auctioning its players guernseys from the match played at Etihad Stadium on the weekend with proceeds to be donated to the Cancer Council’s Call to Arms campaign.
