BOMBERS GET ANZAC DAY REVENGE
Essendon atoned for the humiliation of its Anzac Day defeat and may have turned around its season with a 55-point victory over Collingwood at the MCG. The win was set up by a strong first half with the Bombers' midfield back to its brilliant best. Joe Misiti and Paul Salmon led a 38-point rout of the highly fancied Pies in the first half before the Bombers went on to record a convincing 19.12 (126) to 10.11 (71) victory.
