Corcoran returns to Windy Hill

Essendon Football Club today confirmed the appointment of Danny Corcoran in the new role of People and Development Manager in the Club’s revamped football department.
CEO Ian Robson said Corcoran’s experience across a variety of roles within the sports industry would be of significant value to the operations of Essendon’s football department.
“I am delighted to welcome Danny back as part of a new-look football department under the leadership of Paul Hamilton and James Hird,” Robson said.
“Danny brings with him a wide range of experience from both a local and international sporting stage.
“I am certain he will play a significant role in contributing to the success that all of us are committed to delivering to our supporter base.”
Corcoran comes to Essendon from the Melbourne Rebels where he was employed as the General Manager of Rugby Operations.
He was previously employed as CEO of Athletics Australia and has also held senior administrative roles at the Essendon and Melbourne football clubs.
