The Bombers' fastest player, Jarrod Atkinson, finished 2009 well, playing the last five games of the season including the elimination final against Adelaide.
In his first year on the senior list, the former mature-aged rookie started to look comfortable at AFL and impressed the fans who enjoyed his run.
His fans' rating of 5.53/10 was up from 4.97/10 in 2008 and Essendon supporters are excited about what he can do in 2010, most likely as a running defender.2009
