Essendon players - Steve Alessio, Mark McVeigh, Damien Peverill and Dean Solomon - helped the Arrows F1 team launch their assault on the Foster's Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park, earlier today. The four Bomber players watched the Arrows F1 team have its Livery Unveiling on pit straight and then caught up for a chat afterwards.

Ruckman Steve Alessio towered over the two Arrows F1 drivers - Heinz-Harald Frentzen and Enrique Bernoldi - and after one attempt realised he wasn't a chance to fit into the drivers seat. . ""It is fantastic to have a chat to these guys and find out more about motor racing. It is a very different sport to football, so it is great to have a look in the garage and see what goes on behind the scenes. I wanted to have a drive but the car is valued at over three million dollars so I think I might just stick to play station at home,"" Alessio said. The Essendon team will miss the Foster's Australian Grand Prix as they will be in Perth for their round three match of the Wizard Cup. The team takes on Fremantle on Saturday night at Subiaco.
