Jake Melksham’s favourite moment was veteran Dustin Fletcher’s chase down tackle in the dying stages of the Bombers draw against Carlton in Round 4.

“But sure enough, Fletch just came from nowhere and tackled him to the ground and that was my most inspiring moment for the year.”
Heath Hocking paid tribute to Bomber fans for helping to put Adam Goodes off his kick for goal after the siren against the Swans in Round 20.
“All the red and black supporters were up and cheering and making a lot of noise and the atmosphere was just amazing for us,” Hocking said.
“It certainly proved the difference so thanks to all the members and supporters for being the nineteenth man.”
Andrew Welsh said the loyalty of the Bomber faithful and the way they rallied behind the team against Geelong in Round 15 made a huge difference..
“After losing five games in a row - to have all the members and supporters turn up to support us against Geelong, who were undefeated up until then was amazingm,” Welsh said.
“Your support and cheering helped us get off to a great start and then helped us to get over the line that night.”
For Kyle Reimers it was the Bombers inspirational win on the road against Adelaide at AAMI Park.
“I’d just like to thank all the fans and supporters Australia wide and a special mention to our fans who were at the game – your support was incredible,” Reimers said.
