Essendon's future defensive stocks have been boosted after Dustin and Suzie Fletcher became the proud parents of Max William on Wednesday, October 9th. Max, born at the Freemason's Hospital, weighed in at seven pounds three and both mother and baby are well. Max is the younger brother of Mason and they have the right pedigree. Dad is the best full back in the competition at the moment and their grandfather Ken played 264 games for Essendon and captained the club.
Today's Fans Report Card looks at the form of Chris Heffernan during 2002. Essendon fans basically agreed that Heffernan is a supremely gifted player who didn't do his talent justice last season. Some felt it was a confidence issue, others felt it was the fact he hasn't done a pre-season for the past two years.
