The Bendigo Bombers today proved that no challenge is too tough, winning their fifth match in a row by 16 points against the fifth-placed Sandringham at the Trevor Barker Beach Oval.

 

Bendigo constantly led their opponent and, despite a comeback by Sandringham in the final quarter, the Bombers managed to finish the game with a score of 15.7 (97) to 16.17 (113).

Talented Essendon rookie Marcus Marigliani once again performed well, booting three goals to lead the eleven individual Bendigo goal-scorers, while Darcy Daniher, Michael Quinn and Jason Laycock each kicked two.

 

Essendon rookie Taite Silverlock was named best on ground.

Also, scarves can be collected from Client Services at Windy Hill for the rest of the season.
