The Essendon Football Club, through the trading results of the Melton Country Club, has provided a Community Grant of $22,649 to Kurunjang Secondary School in Melton.
The money will be used to purchase some much needed equipment including human movement, text books, outdoor fitness equipment and an outdoor table tennis table.
“Not only this community grant to Kurunjang Secondary College, grants have also been made available to Melton South Football & Netball Club for building works for female change rooms," General Manager Venues Alan Burton said.
"Melton City Runners and Melton South Cricket Club for some much needed training equipment – which brings our total contribution to community groups and sports clubs in the Melton area to over $100,000 this year.
"This together with the grants made from Windy Hill Venue the Essendon Football Club is very proud this year provided community grants of over $268,000 to community groups and sporting clubs in the Melton and Essendon area this year."
