Essendon Football Club wishes the Tiwi Bombers all the best for their NTFL Division 1 Qualifying Final this Saturday against the Southern Districts at Darwin’s TIO Stadium.

Former Essendon forward Damian Cupido will line up at full-forward for the Districts side, and is having a stellar season in the NT comp.

Tiwi Bombers captain and club stalwart Shane Tipuamantmirri will again lead his side on field as the boys from Tiwi aim to achieve back-to-back Division 1 Premierships.

Earlier this week Essendon announced the VFL signing of former Tiwi junior star Anthony Tipungwuti, a further example of the strong and continually evolving relationship between Essendon and the Tiwi Islands.
