The Bombers need to defeat the tenth placed North Ballarat to progress to the first week of finals.
Essendon, Northern Blues and North Ballarat are all locked on 32 points with the Bombers currently holding the best percentage of 109 and eighth position.
The home side is coming off a magnificent performance against Frankston last weekend and will be looking to repeat such a performance against the Roosters at Windy Hill.
