Essendon will play their last game for the 2013 season on Saturday night against Richmond at the MCG.
After a turbulent year off the field, the Bombers will be out to put on a show for their members and supporters before the side turns its focus to the 2014 campaign.
The last time the two teams met – in Round 9, 2013– Essendon scored a Dreamtime victory 13.13 (91) to 9.8 (62).

Milestone
Alwyn Davey will reach the 100 game milestone this weekend against Richmond. Davey was recruited from Palmerston, Northern Territory in 2006. The livewire small forward has booted 120 goals since making his debut in 2007 against Adelaide.
Retirements
Two fantastic servants of the club, ruckman David Hille and utility Nathan Lovett-Murray will bring their almost 350 combined career-games for Essendon to a close on Saturday night against the Tigers.
Member Appreciation
Our final match for 2013 is all about acknowledging the 56,172 Essendon members that have supported their team this year. The club would like to thank each and every one of the loud and proud members that show their support by coming to matches each week.
Club staff will be handing out ‘thank you’ cards to all members that walk in to the MCG Gates 3-5 from 6pm. If you’re a member, make sure you collect one on your way in. We will also be projecting member photos onto the side of the MCG! Simply choose a photo that best represents you as a Bombers member – whether it be with your favourite player, at a game, or cheering the boys on from home – and email it to bombers@crowdcameo.com by midday Friday. The projections will take place between Gates 4-5 on Saturday 31 August, between 6-8pm.
