Essendon duo David Hille and Nathan Lovett-Murray have been named for their final match at AFL level after today announcing their retirement.

Hille and Lovett-Murray have been named to take on the Tigers in a farewell game on Saturday night after spending much of the season in the VFL.

Simon Goodwin has made four changes to the side in his first match in charge also naming Elliott Kavanagh and Leroy Jetta.

Nick Kommer (hand), David Myers (illness), Heath Hocking (suspension) and Joe Daniher (omitted) have all been ruled out of the match.

Goodwin urged fans to get along and show their support for the team on Saturday night.

“I know it has been a tough and the players have had a really tough year but they are really appreciative of your support,” Goodwin said.

“The boys really want to put in a good performance on Saturday night and make sure it is a performance we can all be proud of.”
