Essendon fans turned out in force yesterday at the club’s annual Family Day which was proudly presented by Samsung.
Over 8000 fans flocked to Windy Hill hoping to grab a glimpse of their favourite players, while also making the most of all the activities on offer at the Family Fun Fair.
Highlights of the day included the 2009 Samsung guernsey presentation where 47 lucky Essendon fans presented each team member with their playing strip for the season, the Michelton and Preece grape crushing competition, and the opportunity to see Matthew Knights plummet into a dunking machine at the hand of the Essendon players.
Fans also made the most of the Samsung photo studio where they were able to get up close and personal with their favourite Bombers.
