Goddard said Craig had been a key new ingredient to the Bombers’ recent on-field success.
“It’s exactly what the club needed, he’s a guy that is ruthless in a lot of ways, but he’s got a really good balance of caring and getting a message across,” said Goddard.
“He’s been terrific, he just gives a level-headed outlook on things and opinions.
“He’s very meticulous in the way he goes about it, some would say he’s got a bit OCD, a few traits of mine actually.”
Working alongside Mark Thompson, Goddard said the two had worked in unison since Craig joined the Bombers last summer.
“They are different, but they’ve worked terrifically well together.”
“We all know Bomber is somewhat of a different cat.
“His head tends to spin at a hundred miles an hour at times, but Craigy just gives him that level-headed opinion and puts things in perspective for everyone.”
In an exciting upcoming episode of The Hanger, Craig is followed on his journey back to his hometown of Adelaide during the victory over Port Adelaide.
An episode that Goddard admits he won’t miss.
“That will be interesting,” he said.
“I don’t think he particularly likes the camera, but I might be wrong there.”
“He’s been terrific- I can’t speak highly enough of Craigy.”
The all-new episode of The Hanger featuring Neil Craig’s return to Adelaide, plus much more airs 7 pm Wednesday on FOX FOOTY.
