It was a Bomber clean-sweep in the round 17 Coaches Association Champion Player of the Year votes during the 64-point win over Collingwood on the weekend.

Jake Carlisle was undoubtedly the best player on the ground after an enormous 19 mark, 26 disposal and four goal game from Jake Carlisle ensuring he received the full votes from Mark Thompson and Nathan Buckley.

Veteran Paul Chapman was also recognised after he played himself back into form against the Pies booting three goals along with 20 disposals to be awarded five votes.

While Dyson Heppell and acting captain Brent Stanton rounded out the notable vote getters, both receiving four votes each.

Heppell’s four votes against Collingwood was enough to push himself into ninth position overall on the leader board after 17 rounds.

The 22-year-old is having a career-best season averaging over 28 disposals a match, including almost 5 tackles a game.
