Essendon is set to take on Melbourne in a public practice match at Casey Fields on Friday as the side gears up for the 2020 season.
The game is the club’s first competitive hit-out of the year and attendance will be free for all fans, with the first bounce scheduled for 2pm.
The teams clashed just once in 2019, with the Bombers prevailing by 18 points in a high-scoring and entertaining affair at the MCG in round three.
