Essendon has officially launched its 2018 membership drive, with the Club aiming for more than 70,000 members for the first time in its history.
More than one million people attended the Bombers matches in 2017 as the Dons returned to the finals for the first time since 2014.
Chief Marketing Officer Justin Rodski said there is a great sense of optimism and excitement about the 2018 season.
“It is an exciting time to be a part of the Club right now,” Rodski said.
“In 2017 we had record membership, record attendances, all time high member engagement and satisfaction, and our best renewal rate on record.
“We now want every one of our 67,791 members from this year to say YESS and Don the Sash again in 2018.”
The YESS campaign is focused on membership renewal and retention and a target of 50,000 members by Christmas has been set.
“This is the first important phase of our membership program and is primarily focused on retention of our existing members,” Rodski said.
“The YESS campaign will celebrate all the highlights and memorable moments from this year and features a number of light hearted and fun player videos that will be rolled out over the coming weeks and months.
“Our brand story and new member acquisition campaign will be launched early next year in the build up to the season.”
