All members are to be congratulated on the record attendance at this year’s Bombers’ games – already exceeding last year’s total attendance by 10,267.
This year, the club has endeavoured to heighten the match-day experience for all Bomber fans – delivering Australian first concepts such as the Anzac Day fan cam, interactive light projections, red-energy meters, live concerts, big screen content and pre-game animations at all home games.
2011 attendance statistics:
Year to date: 2011 EFC attendance: 1,020,104 compared to 2010: 1,009,837
2011 has been a record year for first time members – over 3000 new members are coming to watch the Bombers play every game.
Approximately 60% of all our match day members are attending Essendon’s home games this year.
As well as fans coming to the game, we need all members to show their support and use their current memberships.
The upcoming Round 23 clash against Port Adelaide is Essendon’s last home game for the season. The club will recognise the wonderful support our members have invested over the course of the season, so watch the Bombers in action on Sunday 28 August at Etihad Stadium and join in all the celebrations.
