Jason Winderlich is set to make his return from a lengthy stint on the sidelines in Essendon's VFL curtain raiser at Etihad Stadium Saturday afternoon.

Winderlich's inclusion will be his first competitive game for 2015 as he moves one step closer to an AFL return.
