Che Cockatoo-Collins was a creative forward who kicked 85 goals for the Bombers in his five seasons with the club.
He made his debut at the age of 19 and made an immediate impression collecting 21 possessions and booting three goals in a three point win against West Coast.
In that first season he failed to kick a goal in only two of his 18 games. He finished with 24 goals and looked set for a big career at Essendon.
In 1995, Cockatoo-Collins kicked three goals in the Anzac Day draw that changed the face of football forever. Indigenous players across the competition took a stand against racism and the game has been on an improved path ever since.

He played another two seasons at the Bombers before moving to Port Adelaide.
