The Bombers will finally battle for four points when they face Sydney at ANZ Stadium on Saturday afternoon in a Round 1 blockbuster.
Under returning senior coach James Hird, Adam Cooney will finally make his Essendon debut after 219 games for his former club, Western Bulldogs and is set to add extra pace and skill through the club's midfield.
