Essendon Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Corrigan as Development Coach for the 2015 season.
Corrigan has an extensive background in coaching and opposition analysis at the Geelong Football Club and is a qualified teacher with a degree in sports science.
“I am very excited and humbled to be given the opportunity to be a part of the Essendon Football Club,” Corrigan said.
“It is going to be really important for me to get up to speed really quickly and build relationships with the development guys so that the trust is there.”
General Manager Football Performance Neil Craig welcomed Corrigan to the club.
“We are pleased to announce Mark will be joining our coaching panel for the 2015 season,” Craig said.
“Mark brings some great experience in working with young footballers through his previous role at the Geelong Football Club.
“Over the last month we have gone through a thorough process to determine the best candidate for the role and we are confident Mark will be a great addition to our coaching panel.”
Mark begins his role within the Development coaching group immediately.
