With just eight weeks to go until his next big bout, IBO Super Featherweight World Champion ‘Wild’ Will Tomlinson has taken some time out of his training regime to visit the True Value Solar Centre.

Will was given a personal tour by Jake Melksham and Tayte Pears, and he was extremely impressed with what he saw.

“You’ve got everything you need here, to train hard and to recover well,” Tomlinson said.

“Throughout my career I’ve seen all sorts of facilities. I’ve lived and trained at the AIS, and I’ve been to the Olympic training centre in Colorado which is the training base for the American Olympic athletes, and this facility is definitely up there.”

The 28 year-old is heading to the MCG to watch his beloved Bombers on ANZAC Day, and he’s confident the team can continue its positive start to 2015.

While he’s set to attend plenty of Essendon games this season, his focus is firmly fixed on his next fight against a yet to be decided opponent on June 17 at the Melbourne Pavilion.
