The traditional ANZAC rivalry between Essendon and Collingwood will continue at VFL level this week with the Bendigo Bombers set to take on the Collingwood Magpies at Queen Elizabeth Oval on Sunday.

Bendigo will host the VFL ANZAC Poyser Isuzu match and with the new Calder Freeway complete and a trip to Bendigo faster than ever, there is no reason to miss out on an ANZAC Clash between the Bombers and the Pies.

Match-day formalities will be run in line with the great ANZAC Day traditions. The Chairman’s Luncheon will feature guest speakers from the Essendon Football Club and local artist Terry Jarvis. In addition to showcasing some of his work, Jarvis will share his experiences in following his father’s footsteps on the Kokoda trail.
