Knights told the media this morning, that the Bombers are going into the game determined to get the four points and has called on his young playing group to make the most of the opportunity.
“It’s a fact, Collingwood did demolish us on ANZAC day last year, later in the year we did get hold of Collingwood but it wasn’t on ANZAC day,” he said.
“The symbolism of the game is so important and it’s important for our young players to appreciate the week and not just the football game.
“Invariably in some of these big games, young players pop up, Mark McGough popped up one ANZAC day, Andrew Lovett did and I think Jason Laycock went pretty close one year (to winning the ANZAC Day Medal).
“Young players can pop up on this big stage, this is an opportunity for one of our young players to play and to give them some belief that they can play at this level.
“Come game day, our big focus will be to get the four points because it is pretty vital for both teams sitting at two and two, sitting on a equal ledger on the ladder.""

Earlier this week, Jobe Watson spoke to the media after the Bombers’ disappointing loss to North Melbourne which he described as ‘one that got away’.
“We were unable to take the game on which was pretty disappointing,” he said.
“You can play poorly and still be close but we just weren’t close enough and we didn’t do enough to get the win. North Melbourne played more consistently throughout the game and in the end deserved to win.”
“Every game is worth four points, there is no point getting up for a big game last week and coughing up the game yesterday.”
