To celebrate the unveiling of The Hangar, Essendon Football Club has been counting down the 10 best ‘hangars’ ever taken in the red and black.
Joe Daniher couldn’t be denied another spot in the countdown and has taken out number two after claiming fourth spot with this year’s mark of the year.
While he didn’t win the award in 2016, his exceptional mark against the Saints was easily one of the most spectacular marks ever taken by a Bomber.
Daniher timed his leap perfectly to plant himself on top of defender Sam Gilbert and claim the almighty mark and the second-best position on our countdown.
