Essendon Football Club will give its youngest fans a special treat at the Christmas Open Training session at The Hangar on Tuesday, December 19.

Baby Bomber members will have the opportunity to take photos with club legend Kevin Sheedy and the 2000 Premiership Cup.

The four-time Premiership-winning coach will be on hand with his most recent Cup from 4pm to 5pm to celebrate the holiday season with the club’s newest lifelong members.

“We have so many mums and dads call the club the day of their child’s birth to sign them up Bub totas members, and this is a fantastic way to say thanks, make them feel connected and provide a special memory which will last forever,” Sheedy told Sunday Herald Sun.

With the club closing in on its target of 50,000 members by Christmas and steaming towards a record membership tally, there has never been a bigger Essendon family to feel a part of.

All fans will be able to meet the players at the session, so don’t forget to come along and bring your ‘Bub to the Club’ next week.
