Award winning Country music stars Lee Kernaghan, Shannon Noll, Sara Storer and Mustered Courage will headline the second instalment of the Powercor Australia Country Festival.
The free festival will take place in Yarra Park ahead of the Bombers clash with Geelong in round eight at the MCG on Saturday May 13th from 2pm.
Football fans will be able to sample a taste of the country, as the Yarra Park precinct is transformed into a showcase of the best regional Victoria has to offer.
Farm animals, a ute display, camel rides, wood chopping, food trucks, sheep shearing, tractors and fresh produce, followed by a star-studded music concert … there is something for everyone ahead of the Dons blockbuster at the ‘G.
The country festival is all about celebrating our regional communities and the significant contribution they make to the nation.
From the farmers, to the Country Fire authorities, to the budding footballers dreaming of one day emulating other AFL stars born in the bush … this festival is all about celebrating the crucial role they play in enhancing the lives of other Australians.
