The trade period is entering the final stages and Essendon has been one of the competition's most active clubs.
The Bombers have landed Devon Smith, Adam Saad and an extra pick in the second round of this year's National Draft.
Essentially the Club has given up pick 11 and its third round pick in next year's draft to secure the fresh assets.
The trade deadline is 2pm on Thursday.
So here is how things stand:
In: Devon Smith, Adam Saad, pick 25 (2017), GWS 2018 second round pick (as part of Devon Smith deal)
Out: Jobe Watson, Heath Hocking, Brent Stanton, James Kelly, pick 11, future second round pick (as part of the Adam Saad deal), future third round pick (as part of Devon Smith deal)
The completed deals:
- The Bombers secured former GWS player Devon Smith, the Giants 2017 second round pick (currently 25) and the Giants 2018 second round pick in exchange for pick 11 and the Dons 2018 third round pick.
- The Bombers secured former Gold Coast player Adam Saad in exchange for the Dons 2018 second round pick.
