The Essendon forward line will have a new look in 2017.
A quartet of small attacking options have changed the dimension of a Bombers forward half that has had Joe Daniher as its focal point for the last three seasons.
In that time Daniher has led the goal kicking each season and this year he’s likely to have Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti, Travis Colyer, Orazio Fantasia and Josh Green at his feet.
Cale Hooker and James Stewart offer additional marking options, while Tom Bellchambers and Shaun McKernan have shown an ability to push forward throughout their careers.
Josh Begley burst onto the scene last week and Aaron Francis is returning to full fitness.
Jayden Laverde and Kyle Langford are mobile and good above their head. It’s also expected midfielders Jobe Watson and Zach Merrett will spend more time forward this season.
