The boys returned to the track today for their first full skills session of the week, as they look to prepare themselves for the game against the West Coast Eagles.
Captain Jobe Watson was vocal for the entire session urging players to make complete efforts and work on the areas that have been issues during the game over the last few weeks.
Despite winning 20 clearances on the weekend, the midfield group struggled to efficiently dispose of the ball and create opportunities for the forwards to get to the ball. The boys worked hard on this today sharpening their skills when kicking under pressure.

Addressing this post-game on Saturday assistant coach Matthew Egan stressed the importance of being able to plug holes in the backline and ensure that the opposition were unable to find targets easily.
As such there was much more of a team focus on defense at training, with all players doing their best to man-up when the ball was entering our backline.
Licka trained strongly after making his return for Essendon VFL over the weekend.
