Essendon VFL will face Williamstown at Adcon Stadium, Port Melbourne on Sunday in a do-or-die preliminary final.
The first bounce will be at 2:10pm, with the match to be televised live on Channel 7.
A win would set up a Grand Final berth against either Richmond or Port Melbourne at Ikon Park on Sunday, September 22.
The encounter comes following the VFL Dons’ thrilling three-point semi-final win against Werribee at the weekend, and Williamstown’s 13-point qualifying-final victory over Footscray.
The last time the two sides met was in round 17, when the Seagulls hosted the Bombers and recorded a three-goal win.
