Negotiations surrounding Jake Carlisle’s potential move to a new club are set to resume once he returns from an overseas holiday.

Since requesting a trade, the 23-year-old defender has been linked to several Clubs including St.Kilda, the Western Bulldogs and Carlton.

“Our understanding is that he has met with two clubs and will be meeting with more clubs when he comes back,” said List and Recruiting Manager, Adrian Dodoro.

“At this stage he hasn’t indicated what he wants to do.

“Jake and his management have indicated they’ll work with us to ensure a fair and reasonable trade deal for both parties.”

This week the AFL website reported the Bulldogs were among the front runners for the defender, after North Melbourne pulled out of the race.

Media outlets have also linked the Bombers to the Brisbane Lions’ ruckman Matthew Leuenberger and Gold Coast’s Zac Smith.

Despite number one tall Tom Bellchambers recently re-signing, the Club could benefit from an additional tall to compliment it’s list for 2016.

Smith played 11 games in 2015 averaging 25 hit-outs, 11 disposals and two marks a game, while Leuenberger averaged 20 hit-outs, 8 disposals and two marks from his 14 games in 2015.
