Essendon has been forced to make a late change to its side to take on the Kangaroos at The Dome this evening with youngster Henry Slattery being forced out with calf soreness. Slattery will be replaced by Jobe Watson who has been in terrific form in the VFL side in recent weeks. The Kangaroos have also made a change with Jess Sinclair being replaced in the selected side by Sav Rocca.

""Henry just pulled up a touch sore after last weekend's game. We took him along quietly during the week but he hasn't improved enough to play. We will assess him further next week but we are hopeful he will only miss the one game,"" Essendon football operations manager Dom Cato said.
