Essendon VFLW has made three changes to its side ahead of Saturday’s round four clash against Carlton at Windy Hill.

Senior-listed Bomber and inaugural leading goalkicker Alex Quigley is one of the notable inclusions, making her long-awaited return in the red and black.

Lauren Caruso and debutant Tessa Zagontinos will also don the sash, while Shae Audley and Hayley Trevean are set to face their former side.

The ex-Carlton duo joins Ally Anderson (Brisbane) and Cecilia McIntosh (Collingwood) as Bombers boasting AFLW experience.

Maighan Fogas will start at half-back despite spending some time in the midfield last week, while forwards Monique DeMatteo and Maddy Collier will look to continue their impressive form.

Katherine McFayden and Georgia Nanscawen sit on the interchange, while Elizabeth Hosking could potentially make her debut against the Blues after being included as an emergency.

Eloise Ashley-Cooper is the 23rd player for the third consecutive week.

Following a 35-point loss to Richmond, the Bombers will be looking to get back on the winners list on Saturday from 12pm.

The team will be finalised ahead of the first bounce.
