Essendon VFLW has made one change to its side ahead of Saturday’s season-ending clash with Williamstown at Windy Hill.

Exciting forward Maddy Collier returns to the line-up on the half-forward flank, after missing last week’s victory over Collingwood, while key defender Kirby Hicks has been omitted from the side.

Acting skipper Simone Nalder has been named as ruck, with Georgia Nanscawen and Shae Audley as ruck rovers.

Chloe Laan will act as a key-defensive post with support from Eloise Ashley-Cooper and Cecilia McIntosh.

At the opposite end, Felicity Theodore, Lori Stepnell, Maighan Fogas and Erin Gogerly will line up in the forward-line.

Alex Quigley will look to continue her run of good form, putting in an impressive performance in last weekend’s 27-point victory over the Magpies, recording a round-high seven marks.

Touted as the top selection in this year’s AFLW draft, Georgia Patrikios has been in sensational form, rewarded with selection in the Round 15 Team of the Week.

Krstel Petrevski has been named the 23rd player for the second consecutive week.

Essendon notched its first back-to-back victories last time the two sides met back in round 12.

The VFLW Dons will be searching for a win to cap off the end of the home-and-away season.

The final team will be selected ahead of the first bounce at 11am on Saturday at Windy Hill.

Live match updates will be available via Essendon VFLW’s Twitter.
