During the 2010 season 11 Essendon players need to play 13 games or fewer to reach career milestones.
David Hille and Nathan Lovett-Murray need only one game to reach 150 and 100 games respectively and should do so in Round 1 against reigning premiers Geelong.

Andrew Welsh needs only five games to reach 150, while captain Jobe Watson and Angus Monfries need six and seven games respectively to make it 100.
Alwyn Davey, Brent Prismall and Sam Lonergan need 11, 12 and 13 games to reach 50 League games while Mark McVeigh needs 12 to reach 200 and Ricky Dyson 13 to reach 100.
Perhaps the most significant milestone is that approaching Dustin Fletcher. ‘Fletch’ needs only nine games to reach 321 and move into second place on Essendon’s most-games-played list ahead of Dick Reynolds and behind record-holder Simon Madden.
What a career it’s been too. A premiership in his first season, best and fairest medal and another premiership in 2000, which was the best season in the club’s history, and All-Australian selection twice. Good luck to all of them.

Meanwhile, Essendon would like to advise supporters of a small delay in the mailing of 2010 membership packs (packs were originally planned to be sent during the week of 16th December).

The unexpected delay is due to a number of factors including strikes at Australia Post and an upgrade of the Essendon’s  IT systems (which will ultimately improve the accuracy of club information).

Membership packs have started hitting mailboxes and the majority will be received in mid to late January 2010.
