The Essendon Football Club is proud to unveil it’s 2025 PUMA Anzac Day Guernsey ahead of the 30th Anniversary of the first ever Anzac Day clash between Essendon FC and Collingwood FC.
The 2025 Essendon Anzac Day Guernsey symbolically reimagines the club's iconic red sash, transforming it into a field of vibrant red poppies.
This powerful design choice serves as a visual tribute to the ANZAC spirit, with each poppy symbolising remembrance and commemoration of the sacrifices made by servicemen and women.
By integrating this potent emblem of wartime reflection into their traditional colours, Essendon honours the legacy of the ANZACs on this significant day of national remembrance.
This year, the RSL, alongside the Essendon Football Club and Collingwood Football Club, are asking fans to ‘Stand Together’ and donate to the ANZAC Appeal to make a real difference for those who have served.
The ANZAC Appeal is the RSL’s biggest annual fundraiser, raising money to support veterans and their families adjust to life after service
Many veterans and their loved one’s face challenges after serving and sacrificing for our country, and as the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide highlighted, “they need our support now more than ever”.
Every donation made, big or small, can make a huge, long-lasting impact. Some of the support provided to veterans and their families include compensation for physical and mental health injuries through service, assistance with day-to-day medical support and employment, social support, and programs that promote physical health and social connection like RSL Active.
Let’s Stand Together and support those who served for our country.
