The doors will be staying open late as Essendon welcomes the Bomber faithful to the NEC Hangar for Family Day from 4pm-7pm (AEDT) on Tuesday, February 4.

The Club endeavours to provide opportunities for all members and fans to participate in Club events and therefore will run a special twilight edition of Family Day this year.

Fans will be treated to a bunch of exciting activities, including player signing sessions with the entire AFL squad.

You can test out your wheelchair football skills with our VWFL team in attendance, practice catching with the Melbourne Renagades and try out surfing on URBNSurf's mechanical surfboard.

Toyota Forklifts will provide face painting on the night, inflatable skills targets are on hand thanks to Fujitsu, Coles and McDonald's, while you can also cycle for a smoothie with partner Liberty.

A PlayStation console will be on deck to try out thanks to NEC, while the crews from TRADIE and our new apparel partner Puma will also be present at the NEC Hangar.

There are also stacks of prizes on offer, so keep an eye out for your chance to win.

The Bomber Squad will be hosting a sausage sizzle to raise funds for the cheer squad, and you can also enjoy some free fresh fruit from Coles.

After some more delicious food options? The Jack Jones Café will be open and a variety of food trucks on site, featuring Real OG Burgers, Mister Alejandro, Mary and a Little Lamb, Pizza Truck, Boost Juice, and Walkers Doughnuts, plus coffee from the Coffee Mill and the beloved pink Ice Cream van is back.

Gates open at 4pm, with player signing sessions running from 4:30pm–6:30pm.

The Bomber Shop will be open until 7pm. Grab something from the 2025 range by Puma, New Era and more. Don't forget that members receive 10 per cent off storewide!

No on-site parking is available and street parking is limited, so please plan ahead. Limited spaces will be available on-site for accessible permit holders only, with entry via Watson Drive.

Free shuttle buses will be running from Windy Hill to the Hangar every 30 minutes, with the first to depart Windy Hill at 3:30pm and the last bus to leave the Hangar at 7:30pm.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Hangar for an evening of fun.
