Essendon VFL have named three changes to its side to face Sandringham at Windy Hill this Sunday.

Following last week's bye round, the Bombers will have a slew of rejuvenated AFL-listed players from the week off including defender Nick Hind, who returns to the line-up.

Jack Peris will make a long-awaited return from injury, injecting some pace into the Bombers' forward mix.

Another inclusion will be Bendigo Pioneers' key-position prospect James Barrat for his VFL debut - the 17-year-old's booted 11 goals from four Coates League games this season and will serve as 23rd man for the Dons on Sunday.

Cam Nyko and Ryan Eyre have been omitted from the side, with Jye Menzie the final change as he gears up for AFL action against the Saints.

The Dons take on the Zebras from 1:05pm at Windy Hill on Sunday, with streaming available via the AFL website.
