Essendon VFLW has named its side to face Port Melbourne in Saturday's season-opener.
A rematch between last year's preliminary finallists, the Bombers are keen to show off a slew of new recruits from the off-season.
This will be Cherie O'Neill's first match as Senior Coach, while El Chaston is set to Captain the side for the first time this season.
AFLW-listed players Ash Van Loon, Lily-Rose Williamson and draftee Chloe Adams will all make their first appearances of 2024 via the VFLW.
The Bombers take on the Borough at the NEC Hangar this Saturday, with the first bounce scheduled at 10:05am AEDT.
