Essendon VFL has named its team to face the Brisbane Lions in Saturday's season-opener.
The Bombers' round one line-up will feature 10 AFL-listed players, including all four of last year's draftees in Nate Caddy, Luamon Lual, Archie Roberts and Vigo Visentini, who are set for their first competitive game together.
It shapes to be a busy jumper presentation for the new-look Dons, as 14 players from the starting 23 gear up for their club debuts.
Twin brothers Alwyn and Jayden Davey are set to play their first match for points together, with Jayden back in competitive action for the first time in nearly three years.
Young defender Lewis Hayes will hold up the last line of defence, while Harry Jones and Sam Weideman will serve as the key targets in attack.
The Bombers and Lions will square off at the NEC Hangar this Saturday at 1:05pm, as part of a double header following the VFLW season-opener.
