The Essendon Football Club has informed Alana Barba and Renee Tierney that they will not be offered contracts for the 2024 season.
Barba played 10 games in the red and black, adding to her two AFLW games from her time at the Gold Coast Suns.
Tierney lined up for four games across her two seasons, including this year's Dreamtime clash against Richmond, where she kicked one major.
General Manager of AFLW Aysha Ward acknowledged the inaugural Bombers' contribution to the club.
"On behalf of everyone at Essendon, I wanted to thank Alana and Renee for their dedication and commitment to the red and black for many years across our AFLW and VFLW programs," Ward said.
"They both have lived the club's values and are true Essendon people who players and staff highly respect.
"We wish Alana and Renee all the best for the next chapter of their journeys."
