Join Michael Long for a community celebration and wellbeing concert at Federation Square this Saturday.

The event begins at midday and runs through until 5:30pm when The Long Walk to Dreamtime at the G’ begins.

Archie Roach will headline the free concert at Federation Square. 

The concert and The Long Walk celebrate Michael Long’s historic walk to Canberra in 2004.  The former Essendon champion had walked halfway from Melbourne to Canberra when then Prime Minister John Howard agreed to meet with him to discuss indigenous issues.

So make sure you head to Federation Square before the game for the concert and then a memorable walk to the ground.
