Dean Rioli has made an 11th hour bid for inclusion in this week's Essendon side to play Collingwood tomorrow after training strongly this morning. Rioli has missed the past two matches after straining a hamstring against Port Adelaide in round two. He was expected to miss tomorrow's Anzac Day match but he has thrown selectors another poser with his form on the track this morning. ""He moved well this morning and didn't feel any discomfort,"" Essendon football manager Matthew Drain said.

""He will have a fitness test tomorrow morning before we make a final decision on him but he has certainly given us something to think about,"" Drain said. The inclusion of rioli will see essendon's injury list shrink to just two - those players being Chris Heffernan (2 weeks) and Joe Misiti (seven weeks).
