James Ferry was great in defence, stopping the Roosters run forward on multiple occasions. He finished with 16 disposals and nine marks.
Kieran Strachan debuted for the Dons on Sunday. He took eight marks, laid four tackles and finished with 16 disposals.
Kobe Mutch was again impressive for the Bombers, he collected 23 disposals, five marks and laid four tackles.
Logan Morey debuted for Essendon VFL, he finished with 10 disposals, four marks and three tackles.
In his second game back Jayden Laverde was impressive with 23 disposals, eight marks and one tackle. He booted three goals for the Dons.
Ben Howlett dominated against North Ballarat. The midfielder finished with 28 disposals, seven marks, four tackles and a goal.
Aaron Francis was strong in the Bombers back line. He collected 13 disposals and four marks.
Dylan Clarke was in fine form on Sunday, he laid seven tackles to turn the ball over in the Dons favour. Clarke finished with 13 disposals and two marks.
Alex Boyse continued to shine in the forward line, he finished with 20 disposals, five marks, three tackles and booted a goal.
Essendn VFL came away with a 54 point win over North Ballarat. Wilson Berry, Kieran Strachan and Logan Morey celebrated their first win in the red and black.
