Essendon midfielders Sophie Molan and Grace Dicker have been named in the squad of 30 for the 2023 Rebel VFLW Team of the Year.

The midfield duo were formidable for the Bombers this season, leading a late charge into the finals and securing a preliminary final berth.

Molan enjoyed a terrific first season in red and black, averaging 18 disposals per game to take home the club's best & fairest, as well as best finals player honours.

Dicker showed rapid improvement as a stoppage player this season, averaging a staggering 12 tackles per game and finishing runner-up in the club's best & fairest.
