SAVAGE SELECTION, FOUR PAY THE PENALTY
The axe has been swung at the selection table with Damian Cupido, Paul Barnard, Rob Forster-Knight and Cory McGrath all paying the penalty and being omitted from the team that went down to Adelaide last weekend. Joel Reynolds is also missing with a groin injury. The Bombers have been bolstered by the return of Jason Johnson, Joe Misiti and Dean Rioli. Aaron Henneman and Steven Alessio have also been included.

When the stats read at the end of the match - 31 free kicks against - there is no hiding from the fact that the team has been undisciplined over the course of the game. That was the case Friday night against Adelaide and it is no secret that Bomber coach Kevin Sheedy was disappointed with his players lack of restraint against the Crows. Sheedy has spoken to the team this week and said he will not tolerate continued undisciplined play from his team. The team focussed on tackling last night at training in a bid to improve the free kick ratio.
