Essendon has hosted its 2023 AFLW season launch on Monday night.

New arrivals Matilda Dyke, Brooke Brown, Brooke Walker, Leah Cutting, Georgia Clarke and Kodi Jacques all received their first Essendon guernseys, alongside the full squad of 30.

Club President David Barham and AFLW Senior Coach Natalie Wood made addresses on the night, highlighting the eagerness ahead of the Bombers' second season in the competition.

The Bombers travel to Perth this weekend for their second practice match, taking on the West Coast Eagles at Mineral Resources Park this Sunday at 12:30pm AWST.

Finding themselves less than three weeks away from the home-and-away campaign, excitement is high in the Bombers' camp.
